The Smith Family – supporting the education of over 50,000 young Australians

These are extraordinary times, and the impact of COVID-19 will be significant for many of us. Yet for Australian children and families already living in poverty, this crisis will have a devastating impact. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, the 1.2 million young Australians already living in poverty faced huge challenges. Now, those challenges have become even greater.

The Smith Family’s key priority at this time is to continue supporting the education of more than 50,000 young Australians on their flagship Learning for Life program through this crisis. They’re continuing to provide children with vital educational support, which is now needed more than ever.
