PARTNERS - CHARITY TASK FORCE

The Salvation Army

Charity Task Force member since 2016

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 by William  and Catherine Booth as “The East London Christian Mission”.

With a presence in 132 countries, the Salvos run a wide range of operations to bring salvation to the destitute: charity shops, disaster relief, homeless shelters, and even humanitarian aid. Millions of people rely on the support of the Salvos, which is enabled by generosity, both from donors and volunteers. Those who work with the Salvos are known as Salvationists.

With millions of lives transformed over its long life, the Salvos are a key institution in supporting those who are often forgotten. Workplace Giving Australia is proud to call them a partner.
