The Innovative Workplace Giving Network Launches In Style

As the leader of workplace giving advocacy in Australia, we welcome all corporate, charity and industry partners, old and new, to a brand-new year of The Network for 2023 and celebrate the powerful contribution Australian corporates can bring to the charitable sector in advocating for achieving best-practice workplace giving.

The Network celebrated with two launch events in March in both Sydney and Melbourne, and we were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and some new members as well. The event was generously hosted by Bain & Company all were inspired to hear from :

  • Michelle Teague, Social Performance Lead, Energy Australia (keynote speaker at the Melbourne launch)
  • Nathan Barker, Head of Community Investment, Commonwealth Bank of Australia & Stephanie Dobbin, Manager, CommBank Staff Foundation, Marketing and Corporate Affairs (keynote speakers at the Sydney launch)

We want to make sure that there’s a greater culture of giving. One way of empowering that is through a better culture of evidence around what works within philanthropy or within charities.    Andrew Leigh MP
