Petspiration Group Outlines Their Winning Tips For Entering The Australian Workplace Giving Awards

Petspiration Group Outlines Their Winning Tips For Entering The Annual Australian Workplace Giving AwardsThe annual Australian Workplace Giving Awards are open for entry from corporates, businesses and not-for-profits, providing the opportunity to celebrate Australia’s largest corporations and their employees’ incredible impact on Australia’s much-loved charities. Petspiration Group (The Petstock Group), winners from the 2022 awards in the Silver Winner Best Overall Program – Large category – have shared their entry advice.

When asked what made you apply for the award Eliza Warren, Charity Administrator, Petspiration Group, comments:

The Workplace Giving Awards do an amazing job in highlighting the incredible work companies are doing behind the scenes across Australia. It’s amazing to be able to see the impact these programs are having and gain inspiration for your own company. While it’s an absolute honor to have won an award, it’s even more of an honor to be able to learn and grow alongside huge national companies that make such an important impact in the lives of both the customers who support them and the charities they help.

Eliza Warren goes on to say:

My biggest tip in applying for the Workplace Giving Awards is to give more information than you think you need to. As someone within the company you’re applying for, you have a full understanding of the program and all the ins and outs – but remember when you’re applying that it may be being read by someone who has never heard of your company before!

Workplace giving is a remarkable initiative that enables corporates to support causes they care about while fostering a sense of purpose and unity within organisations. It allows employees to donate directly from their pay, making it convenient and effortless to give back regularly. The impact of workplace giving extends far beyond monetary contributions, as it strengthens company culture, enhances employee engagement, and cultivates a shared commitment to social responsibility.

Award entries are now open, with submissions closing at 5pm AEST, Thursday, September 7th 2023. Finalists will be announced on Friday, October 6th, with the awards night celebration scheduled for Tuesday, October 31st, in the dual locations of Sydney and Melbourne.
