In 2013 The Australian Charities Fund (ACF) launched a major piece of research to effectively support the business case or Workplace Giving. Titled Engagement: Recognising the value of Workplace Giving the research demonstrated clear evidence that people involved in Workplace Giving are more engaged and motivated towards their employer.
In 2015 ACF has built on this research, and in conjunction with sponsoring organisation SEEK Limited and research partner Social Impact Hub, sought to identify the giving habits of Young Australians, to examine their current level of engagement with Workplace Giving Programs (WGPs) and to determine the motivators that
could increase their participation in Workplace Giving.
Titled Young Australians; Motivations For Workplace Giving, the report indicates young Australians want to work for ethical companies and those organisations that will have a positive impact on the world. This group of emerging employees is not only redefining employment in Australia, but also globally, as they will comprise the majority of the workforce by 2030.
