7-Eleven team donate their public transport fares

During Workplace Giving Month, 7-Eleven has been encouraging its 500 corporate team members to join its ‘Good Cause’ workplace giving program, by asking them to reflect on money saved as a result of COVID-19 restrictions and the need to work from home. The corporate team have been asked to consider how much they are saving on a weekly train, tram or bus ticket and donate this amount. When matched by 7-Eleven, it would mean a significant donation to their charity partners SecondBite, AMES Australia and ReachOut.com.

7-Eleven has a great heritage of making a difference through workplace giving. Examples include partnering with SecondBite to provide the Feedmore Grants through the provision of funding to small community agencies, supporting AMES Australia’s ‘People in Need’ fund for refugees and migrants and support for The Salvation Army and ReachOut.
