2022 Australian Workplace Giving Award Finalists Announced!

The 2022 Australian Workplace Giving Awards are set to celebrate the most outstanding workplace giving programs across Australia for the seventh year in a row.  Showcasing the achievements of partnerships between the corporate and charity sectors, the Awards continue to highlight the growing importance of workplace giving as one of the most effective and efficient forms of giving.

Despite the challenges for many Australians over the past year, it was evident from the applications received that keeping employees engaged and providing them with opportunities to give back to the community has remained an important way of demonstrating connection in our workplaces. In addition to money, donation of time, resources and skills were equally as significant. In fact, the ‘Best Probono/Workplace Volunteering Award’ received the highest number of entries for all categories.

David Mann, Workplace Giving Australia, Good2Give and ShareGift Australia Group CEO, said, “The Australian Workplace Giving Awards are the premier, independent awards for our sector, designed to celebrate the role and efforts of working Australians as they harness the power of their companies to support and build our communities.  These Awards bring together the workforces, their charity partners, and their companies – to share and celebrate their combined successes and to showcase innovation and dedication.

“The independent judging panel reports a universally impressive set of applications which have raised the bar to new heights. I am very much looking forward to discovering the winners, hearing their stories, and learning from all those who have entered. We are grateful for the continued support of the Australian Government Department of Social Services, which again has sponsored the Most Innovative Charity/Employer Partnership Award. Thanks must also go to the panel of judges who have donated their time and extensive experience to making some tough decisions.”
